Königsee Implants is one of the leading German medical technology companies in the field of osteosynthesis. For over 30 years, our company has been developing, producing and distributing implants and instruments for traumatology and orthopaedics. The motivation of our daily work aims at the development and optimisation of health-promoting Products always with the patient’s well-being in mind. With our innovative products for almost all bone sections – from the collarbone to the toes – we actively shorten the healing process of fractures compared to conventional treatment methods, which ideally reduces both the costs for the clinic and the burden for the patient.

For over 30 years, we have been developing and manufacturing implants and instruments for surgery and trauma orthopaedics at our site in Thuringia. Short lines of communication between development, production and logistics enable rapid response times and direct points of contact.
Thanks to forward-planning in stock management covering up to two years, we can reliably supply implants and instruments – manufactured in Germany and usually dispatched within a day.

1.2 “Screwdriver Insert for TOBI®-Drive B8”
An optionally available screwdriver insert (2.9417.B8/75) with AO coupling
and an overall length of 75 mm. This insert can be combined with our handles
– for example, the ratchet handle (2.9355.35/20) – and supports users in the
faster, more precise, and controlled insertion and removal of 2.4 mm screws.

Sustainable production

With the help of our photovoltaic systems, we generate electricity from renewable energies that is used for in-house production. Surplus energy from peak times is fed into the grid. The weekly profile of our solar park shows exactly when our own electricity was generated (green areas), electricity was consumed (grey areas) and electricity was drawn from the grid.
