Safe treatment of pelvic fractures with TIS screws
Set No. 19.681.00
New to the range – screwdrivers for the TIS SET
New cannulated T-handle screwdriver for TIS systems
This expansion of the TIS instrument range specifically improves the handling of TIS screws. The new cannulated T-handle screwdriver is now included in TIS sets and addresses key requirements encountered in everyday clinical practice.
Improved force transmission and handling
The new screwdriver design with a T-handle enables significantly more efficient force transmission between the instrument and the implant. For the user, this means:
- more precise control during insertion of the TIS screw
- reduced loss of force during transmission
- a more stable feel during the screwing process
This can enhance intraoperative safety, particularly in challenging anatomical situations or where visibility is limited.
Canulated design
The canulated design facilitates guided placement using a guide wire. This is particularly relevant in the following situations:
minimally invasive approaches
complex screw trajectories
standardised surgical procedures using a guide wire
This requires precise wire placement and correct compatibility with the existing system.
Integration into existing sets
The new screwdriver is designed to integrate into existing TIS sets without the need for modification:
- can be stored alongside the existing screwdriver
- no change to the set configuration is required
- flexible use depending on the surgeon’s preference
