09. Nov. 2011 - Königsee Implantate
and "Geschwister Scholl"-School in Bad Blankenburg sign
cooperation agreement.
With well prepared music pieces pupils of various ages contributed
to yesterday's official signing of the cooperation agreement coordinated
by the initiative KURS 21 Thuringia. Peter Münsberg, school director of the state school "Geschwister
Scholl" in Bad Blankenburg and Jörg Langheinrich, human
resources manager of Königsee Implantate GmbH, are looking forward
to working together in the up-coming projects.
It is the aim of KURS 21 that pupils get in touch with the world of
Business during their time in school in various ages and various subjects.
Königsee Implantate is a good partner with regard to the handicraft
production of medical implants. First ideas for cooperating projects
have been collected and they are manifold. Already in a few weeks
the first project-idea is to be implemented.
CEO Frank Orschler and all parties are looking forward to working
within this cooperation agreement with the school. |

Colleagues run for a good cause |
|
10.06.2011 |
| After
last years participation Königsee Implantate fulfilled its
announcement to join the next time with a larger group.
The Company Run took place for the 3rd time. Among the 260 starting
teams from various institutions and companies Königsee joint
with 34 colleagues for the 5km-run through the city of Erfurt. This
means we could spark interest from 11 more persons for this team
challenge.
Frank Orschler, CEO of Königsee Implantate, ran this year
in the front group and is happy that such a big group of engaged
colleagues joint the run. As last year he motivated
his employees to join the run with a donation of €
20,-- per each of them for a good cause – chosen by the participants.
"Daily our team works hard to get medical implants in time
to patients world wide. We do know that we are lucky to be able
to move, work and take care of our families. Unfortunately this
is not always the case for all people. |

Sabine Ring, Sandra Bähring, Gisela Döhler and Irmtraud
Heinze
[f. l. t. r.] happily on their way to finish. |
Knowing this I was very happy to take part with such a large group.
For one: The charitable institution profits from the participation.
For two: Health and fitness of the colleagues is improved. The training
for the next year has started."
The enthusiasm of a few
sparked the interest of more colleagues. Now, a tradition appears
to begin. After the survived 5-km-run everyone was excited and proud
to have overthrown the inner resistance of tiring running.
After a short break the training for the next year will start. |

Great interest in Königsee-Workshops
|
|
29.03.2011 |
|
Already for the third time Königsee Implantate organized a workshop
for distributors and doctors from various countries. Again, all available
places were taken. This time the participants could focus on surgical accesses
at the upper and lower extremity. |
 |

In the dissecting room of the Anatomical Institut of the University
in Jena |
Dr. Rosemarie Fröber, senior physician and part of the team in
the Anatomical Institute of the Friedrich-Schiller-University in Jena,
provided her great knowledge about bones, muscles, tendons, ligaments
and vessels last week not only with medical students. Altogether over
30 participants from Columbia, Costa Rica, Poland, Russia, Lebanon,
China, CzechRepublic, Italy and Estonia came to Jena to test the operative
use of the implants from the Thuringian forest. The participants were
instructed and taken care of during the operational phases by Dr.
Iris Trompler, head of the department traumatology and orthopaedics
in Schwabach and by Erik Erlekampf, head surgeon traumatology in Fulda. |
 |
|
The workshop was approved by the municipal doctors association as
further training course. All participants received certification and
training points which they can also use in their respective countries
– thanks to the EU. Now standardized, the workshop-offer for
Königsee customers will be extendet and continued. |

Internship abroad – 4 weeks in Sweden
|
|
30.11.2010 |
|
Victoria Schubanova, trainee for office manager at Königsee Implatate,
is already back in Germany. She used the unique opportunity to get to know
a slightly different office life. And this she did in October in Linköping,
Sweden. "Many things were different there. Especially the friendly
and warm welcome in the 'Swedish office family' at the beginning, the high
technical standard (there was a surgery simulator!), and large simulated
operating rooms, in which 4 workshops can take place simultaneously, have
really impressed me."
|
 |
|
Due to an intensive English course it was very easy to communicate
with the Swedes because: "The Swedes are all very good in English."
Victoria was immediately integrated into the everyday work and supported
the team in preparing the workshops. She was responsible for providing
the implants, instruments and information material and even assisted
during the workshop, because the implants she knew already from Germany.
Besides the daily office duties, she represented Königsee at
Swedish hospitals, processed customer orders as in Germany and was
able to get to know the other side of sales. Namely, the side of the
Swedish customer who orders the Königsee products. Overall, for
the company, our distribution partner and of course for Victoria it
was a new kind of communication. Her conclusion: |

Part of the team in Linköping: Victoria [5th f. r.] |
|
"Each trainee should use
the opportunity for an internship abroad!" Such Internships are encouraged by the educational and service institution
Gera supported with resources from the European Social Fund. |
